Today is the perfect day to measure your 'Women' efforts at your company.
Here is a quick exercise you can do to determine your next move:
✨Step One: Define your current Total Payroll
✨Step Two: What is you Total Headcount?
✨Step Three: Total Headcount by Gender
✨Step Four: Total Payroll by Gender
✨Percent of Payroll as Compared to Percentage of Gendered Employees
For example: You have 100 employees, 75 are Male, 25 are Female.
Total Payroll is 1,000,000 per month.
Males take in 750,000 of this payroll, making it 75%
Females take in 250,000, making their share 25%
Here the opportunity would not be Pay Equity, it would be Percentage of Employees by Gender.
In another example: Women are 50% of Employee HC! Hurray, right?
But when we look into Payroll, of that 1,000,000
Men earned 750,000
Women earned 250,000
Making the Gender Pay Performance Imbalance 75%/25% which translates into lack of opportunity, lack of promotions, lack of influence and leadership.
Most companies I have shared this with find clear discrepancies and new opportunities.
Are you willing to take Step One?
It's easy to do, now that you are Aware!
Next comes your Intention.
Then Discovery, which you have started
Next up is Expectation... to do better!
Our AIDE formula!
Let me know how it goes- and if you want to discuss one-on-one, give me a call or send a message.

A lot may have changed in the last 3 years but Kerri Wise and I are both as committed as ever to the betterment of the entire automotive industry.
Women's History Month starts with one person, one relationship, one initiative at a time.

There's nothing better than a client being happy with the work you are providing for them. It's definitely a joint effort to make the best possible results come to fruition.
It has been a privilege and so exciting to work with the Montway Auto Transport teams the last few months as we begin rebuilding, reimagining and rebranding their Leadership and Sales guidance to try to keep up with their massive, continued growth.
Even while so many things change around us especially in this industry, a company like Montway is willing to put the time, money and commitment into growing their people and making a difference for their clients...kudos!
Many thanks to all on the Montway team and we look forward to all of the terrific new success stories!
We're just getting started and we're #MadeToMove.

Not all of the people in your life will be with you forever.
New people will come and old friends, colleagues and family will go... some will stick around for longer, some much more briefly.
We never get a memo alerting us to their arrival or departure. It just happens.
Appreciate the people in your world for who they are to you for the season they are in your life.
And do your best to be that person for others to offer them an impactful, fulfilling reason for this season you are privileged to share in their journey.
Many thanks to Tyler Perry Studios for the inspiration for today's message.

From a friend and admired former colleague, Katie Smuts.
Right now, far too many are sharing their advocacy, while they fail to live out these values within their own walls.
Marketing doesn't create culture.
A strategic plan with everyone at the table and daily intentional delivery on solid values is what is required.
Pink is Our Color. Not yours. You cannot paint your company a seemingly feminine color in an effort to imply advocacy. That is actually appalling- and embarrassing for you.
Katie- keep up your great work and thank you for your thoughtful words again today.
Good men want better for the women in their lives.
Great men will help us make it happen more quickly.
GenZ and Women everywhere aren't waiting any more. We are here and we are going #FORWARD, with you or without you.

I'm pretty straightforward with all of you.
'The Incident' at National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) set me back a few. Due to the events, I only attended a portion of the conference events I planned to enjoy.
Yes, I kept working, but it robbed me of my normalcy, my peace of mind, my daily enjoyment. I know I haven't been my complete self. My easy smile has been a bit MIA. :(
The trauma of the events of life these days is a lot for so many people. I am always empathetic and caring. But these events, and something eerily similar that happened just the week prior to the conference, gave me pause. Is this the world we are supposed to have? Who are we- and what are we?
I share this because I am starting to feel much better again. I thank all who expressed care and concern. Those clients that helped me barrel through this and who trusted I would still perform for them.
For those who have experienced so much worse, I am so terribly sorry- and sad. People have shared stories they might never have told me in the wake of this occurrence.
I remain grateful for all of you. For my internal strength which is growing again. For work that I love and people who tell me I am making an impact on their businesses and their lives. And to my dear personal physician.
I've been noticeably quiet on LI, but I'm coming back.
Do let me know how I can help and do let me know what you need to hear more about.
With much appreciation and to better days ahead-
Laurie

This girl.
Even as she tightens her helmet to go off on her scooter again, she has no idea of how much she is part of my mission. Our mission.
Yes, she's going to scoot in style down the 500' driveway with her cool new moves, back and forth and in circles as many times as we, and her strong little legs, will let her before the sun goes down.
What my sweet g-daughter Eliza doesn't know is that she has what every child should have in a perfect world.
Parents that adore her and will educate and advocate for her. My son, Kurt, her Daddy, is a picture perfect girl-dad. I couldn't be more proud of him. Her momma, Constance, is an incredibly traveled and educated daughter of global experiences and fully committed to the betterment of the lives of women everywhere.
And... she has her 'Lala', yes, that's me, who is on an unending mission to create a much more hopeful and rewarding future for her, her cousins (some my other gbabes), her friends and her children.
Eliza, you keep on scooting. 🎉
And dancing. And being all things a silly little 4 year old should be.
It's kind of a mess out here lately and some old men seem to be hell-bent on taking your basic rights away.
As if they didn't have enough of their own problems to fix.
But we are mobilized and growing in number- even as these dusty old unkind men start to wither and die...swiping at us for some semblance of significance on their way out the door and off of this planet. That's not power...that's abuse. It's not leadership, it's the ultimate in weakness to oppress others.
We're working as quickly as possible to smooth out the road ahead for you. I promise. There are more of us and more good men rising every day, my sweet girl.
It's Women's History Month , but it's also our Granddaughter's Future Month.
There is much to do to get this right. It will take all of us.
I can't speak for everyone, but your Lala is not going to let you down.🩷
