🎯I is Intention: Take time to review the thoughts from your 'Awareness' phase and write down what you are willing to do to right the ship.

Get the data and the full picture together. Ask others what they are experiencing. Listen to others. Above, below, around you.
Now, start to map out how significant your Communication Gapmay have been in keeping you off track. Time, Dollars, Results, People, Sales, Earnings...Include everything.
This list might be daunting or simple. It's important either way.
Write down where you should be and begin the Discovery how you will pivot and get on a smoother track to success.
🎯E is Expectations: These are for yourself, not others yet. Define the true baseline of where you are now with your Communication Effectiveness across all people and platforms currently, and where you intend to be.
⌚Add in When. A timeline is important. Set intermediate check-ins and milestones to keep you moving forward swiftly.
📚We can't forget How. What tools, coaching, resources do you need to complete this important task of impacting others powerfully with clarity?
Now you have a fully laid out AIDE plan to improve your Communication Impact.
Watch how your interactions change. Pay attention to how you think about what you are going to say/write shifts.
✨Notice the subtle and significant changes.
Watch for the results. You can do this and the results from increasing Clarity, Intention and Expectations in your Communication brings an astounding ROI.

On New Beginnings. Choosing a Fresh Start.
A former executive of a large company has been our client for a while now. Even with their elevated position of leadership, there were backdoor deals made, unknown to them.
They had to make incredibly difficult decisions. Some were immediate, some needed planning.
✨From that day, there would always be a 'Before' and 'After' story.
They might not have seen the untowardly heading their way, even though there were winds of change, coded conversations and atypical moves. But they were a loyal, trusting team player and assumed the best.
Here we are now. Changed forever. A bit dusted, egos bruised and self-doubt. "How did I miss this?" and "Is my reputation inextricably attached to the mess that was made" are ever-present thoughts, at times, nearly paralyzing any thoughts of the future.
When they reached out, in a bit of curiosity and trepidation, they were not sure what we could do together. Having been referred by another client of ours, a trusted colleague and friend of theirs, they made the decision to partner with us.
✨Once we engage, I become their one-on-one Executive Coach. We are transparent, look at their situation without emotion or judgment, but with care for today and their best future. Sometimes it takes a few sessions before they begin to see the difference we are making, but it always happens sooner than you might have imagined for such an arrangement.
We have now moved beyond the 'chaos' learning what we needed to about themselves, others and how well they handled this inconceivable situation.
📈Now, we are on to forward action only.
They have a fresh start, a blank slate, yet one with years and years of tremendous experiences, wins, skills and most of all, people who appreciated them.
We are using this time of the year, this season of change, to breathe fresh life into a tired and weary conversation. We don't needed to revisit this black hole any longer. We have buried it. But you do have to do the work to do so.
✨To watch the faces live on camera change right in front of your eyes is a privilege I will never be able to fully explain. Hope returns. They know they have found a reliable partner. Ideas turn into word turning into action...like they did previously.
They rediscover their power. Their purpose. And now, we can wrap it up into even greater strength and commitment for what's next.
I use our 'AIDE' process at this point. Once we introduce this, our clients apply this process to make all decisions until it becomes an intrinsic habit.

Owners, CEOs, please take better care of your people.
Don't rely on GMs or Management to tell you how things are going.
You're in charge. They often don't or feel they can't tell you the truth.
Another set of plausible and too-familiar instances of unfair treatment and uneven work environments this week.
Women and Men. Men and Women. All seasoned, talented and desirable talent to another company.
Taking time to reflect, here are a few questions to ponder. It will be even more impactful for you if you write these questions on paper and draft your thoughts.
✍🏼How well do you really know those in charge?
✍🏼What could/should/must you be asking them?
✍🏼What is the risk if you don't?
And please try very hard not to allow your own financial situation and security shade your eyes from the challenges your people are experiencing.
Step down, conduct conversations, take surveys, listen and learn... and commit to doing better. I am glad to help, but you can always start these activities with or without a partner. The most important thing is starting.

In one simple picture, with one small gesture, this illustrates the Poshmark community.
It is simultaneously reminiscent of Airbnb when I started with them 8 years ago, as opposed to the epic disaster it has become.
The human touch. The extra level of kindness and appreciation and thoughtfulness.
These intentions are evident every time I navigate Poshmark and are nearly extinct from the Airbnb experience today.
What does this say about the service levels companies offer when they begin versus what they often deteriorate to if left unconsidered and unwatched?

"No one is coming to rescue you," is her theme.
My added message to you, "No one is coming to know your deepest dreams, goals, visions," however you prefer to call them.
No one knows precisely how embedded that passion lies within you.
No one knows how committed you are to bringing your ideas to life.
💥Say it again, "Due to personal reasons, I will be busy today succeeding at everything I set out to do!"
This also reminds you that if you're going to go for it, set the bar at excellence and keep striving to get there.
📈Think of what could happen to your workplace, your company if merely 10% of your team employed- or was offered ;)- this mindset.
Success is far less about activities than the mindset that put those actions in place.
Repeat this in front of the mirror while you're practicing this phrase until it feels less sophomoric and more meaningful.
